ART HAVEN WORKSHOPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HAVEN TUCSON
Art Haven is a multimedia, interdisciplinary, instructional workshop designed for The Haven Recovery with Respect’s residential and non residential addiction treatment participants and their children. This workshop is designed specifically to engage with Black, Indigenous and Latinx women as well as LGBTQ+ identifying individuals.

The workshop is a material-based care practice. Various materials will be provided to explore the integration of grief, joy, remembrance, care and love. Participants will create little talismans/portable altars. Please bring small items of importance to include in your piece.

Amber Doe is an interdisciplinary, social practice textile artist. Tactile Cosmology is a space for futures created by systems of care acknowledging creation and possibility generated by past and contemporary black feminist practice. Historically, textile is a language and mechanism for femme expression.
